تطلق منظمة MAPs بالتعاون مع VEX Robotics Lebanon مسابقة الروبوت اللاجئ ” روبوجي ” في جامعة سيدة اللويزة في بيروت في العاشر من أذار من خلال تصميم روبوتات تستطيع تأدية مهام معينة لاختيار فريق يمثل اللاجئين السوريين في منافسات VEX العالمية.

يضيف د. فادي الحلبي مدير منظمة مابس: “تعد مسابقة روبوجي الأولى من نوعها التي تهدف إلى رفع وبناء قدرات الأطفال اللاجئين السوريين في مجالات التكنولوجيا الحديثة”، تتنافس 10 فرق مكونة من 100 طفل سوري لاجئ من مختلف مناطق لبنان ومخيماتها لنيل لقب “فريق أمل سوريا” الممثل للاجئين السوريين في منافسات VEX العالمية من خلال تصميم الروبوجي ” الروبوت اللاجئ” القادر على تأدية المهمة المطلوبة.

MAPs org launches _ in cooperation with VEX Robotics Lebanon_ Refugee Robot competition “Robogee”  at Notre Dame University _ Louaize in Beirut in  tenth of March through designing robots, robots that can perform certain tasks,  to choose a representative of the Syrian refugees in  VEX worldwide competitions.

Dr Fadi AL Halabi,  Director of MAPS, adds:

“Robogi  is the first competition of its kind which aims to raise and build the qualification of the Syrian refugee children in the fields of modern technology”.

10 teams, formed of 100 Syrian children from various regions of Lebanon,  compete to win the title of “Syria Hope Team”, the representative of the Syrian refugees in  VEX worldwide competitions, through designing the best robot that can perform required tasks.

“Syria Hope Team”, first place winner in the competitions of the American University in Beirut and the competitor in the international competitions in America last year, is considered as one of the best achievements of MAPS in the field of training and building qualification, which helped to change the stereotype of the Syrian refugees and their ability to innovate despite the difficult conditions in which they are exposed in countries of asylum.
