Ghirass Al-Khair Center for Physical Therapy and The Mobile Clinic

The Physical Therapy Center opened in 2016 to treat war related injuries which cause permanent or temporary disabilities. In 2017, the center conducted 9,427 treatment sessions for 1,105 patients; services included amputations and treatments for spinal cord issues, congenital animalities, articular stiffness, peripheral neuropathic injuries, quadriplegia, and hemiplegia. Movement aids are designed and provided to patients when required. For patients who have difficulty accessing the center, HPL launched The Mobile Clinic program, which provides patients with direct support on a monthly basis.
