“Goal” vocational project launching
The continuing education program at MAPS has launched GOAL project for vocational training with the support of Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development in German federal government and in partnership with Right to Play organization and BFZ. The project will last for 3 years targeting the 13 – 18 age group, and this project aims to develop individuals’ skills and to teach them the vocational fundamentals in 11 different specialties (organic agriculture, modern farming, safety and security networks wiring for electricity, hospitality industry, health care of the aged, carpentering, bee breeding, warehouses, electricity (green energy – energy conservation – solar energy networks application), plating and painting, architectural cast iron). The trainees will receive experience certificates in the above-mentioned fields, and these courses will be conducted in Continuing Education and Community Service Center located in Taanael.
