A new hope opens up a new horizon for the Syrian refugees’ community in Lebanon.
“Hope of Syria” team has won the first place in VEX Robotics Lebanontournament that took place at the American University of Beirut (AUB)after surpassing 13 teams, representing 13 Lebanese high schools after 9 difficult matches.
This accomplishment allows “Hope of Syria” team to participate in the International Robotics Competition that will be held in the United States at the beginning of the coming month, April.
In addition to winning the first place, “Hope of Syria” team has achieved the Excellence Award.
The team members are Syrian students who are studying at one of the Education Program in Lebanon – EPL teaching centers. The CECS – Continuing Education and Community Service program has provided them with skills and supervision until they attained this great achievement.
